As we move on into November, you can’t help but think of Thanksgiving! It’s the time to search for all
those things we are thankful for. During 2020, it’s easy to harp on negative. COVID, the election season, a new baby in the house, home schooling your children while working from home… see how easy it was for me to fall into black hole?
Let’s brainstorm what we’re thankful for. We here at the BRC are thankful to be able to care for
the families in our incredible community. I’m thankful for every look of relief as an overwhelmed
client walks out our doors. I’m thankful for our generous donors who help to keep our free and low
cost programs going strong! I’m thankful for my amazing staff that has done backflips to keep our
office running smoothly during the pandemic. I’m thankful for all the BRC volunteers, including
all the rock stars on our board of directors that work hard to help the BRC expand and fly!
Take a moment and jump out of the black hole because there has to be something for which
you are thankful!
And here’s wishing our BRC family (this means you!) a safe and happy Thanksgiving season.
