We love any chance to celebrate our moms and babies, so the Breastfeeding Resource Center staff and volunteers were thrilled to host such a successful event, bringing together our village and welcoming the Pumpspotting Breast Express!
The BRC village came together to celebrate the arrival of Barb, the 40-foot RV driven by Pumpspotting founder, Amy Van Haren.
Pumpspotting is journeying cross-country in the #breastexpress, a 40-foot RV nursing and pumping suite, to support breastfeeding women, unite communities in conversation, and celebrate a world where women thrive.
The BRC also hosted milk donation Acceleron Medical Products Milke Depot Program, and provided lots of fun activities for little ones like kids yoga, a sensory play make & take station, a moon bounce, baby wearing demonstrations and tasty treats.
Once Barb parked at our KoP office, the party started with tours of the pink and teal RV, outfitted with plenty of boob decor for the Pumpspotting nation-wide road trip.
“We have just had the most magical gathering of moms here,” said Van Haren.
Pumpspotting is a social app helping moms nurse, pump, nourish and connect. Download the free app to join the global breastfeeding community and chat over milk, motherhood, and the best places to nurse and pump.
“Our little village has grown,” Colette Acker, Executive Director of the Breastfeeding Resource Center said. “We asked moms to come join together here.”
