This class will focus on different stages of play for children from birth to 4 years of age.

Come discuss early socialization and the different types of play that occur throughout childhood such as: independent play, parallel play, pretend play, associative play, cooperative play, etc.

Parents will learn about what type of play is appropriate for their child’s age and learn tips about helping their child become adaptable in different social situations.

Salus University Speech-Language Pathology students, under the direction of Jacqueline Catalini, M.S., CCP/SLP, will facilitate this workshop.

In addition, they will be available for one-on-one speech, language and feeding screening appointments following the workshops, from 12:30 – 1:00 pm.

All Salus University workshops and screenings are FREE and NO REGISTRATION is required.

All support groups, workshops, classes and screenings are held in the third floor education room! Please enter the building through the door at the ramp off of the parking lot and go up the stairs.
