This group will focus on the important speech, language, and social skills for typically developing infants and toddlers. The group will also focus on the benefits of baby sign language to facilitate communication. Parents will be provided with information to know when to refer their child for speech/language services if they are not meeting the appropriate milestones. Parents will also be given tips for feeding their infants and toddlers and strategies to make mealtime a relaxed experience.
The Salus University Speech-Language Pathology Department master’s students, with supervision by Leah Morton, M.S., CCCSLP, will be facilitating this workshop.
FREE speech, language, and feeding screenings will be offered from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
All babies, toddlers and preschoolers are welcome!
