Yoga is back EVERY SATURDAY starting January 9th! Our new instructor, Caiti Croke Fries, began practicing yoga 10 years ago and immediately fell in love with the focus, body awareness and calmness. She received 200 hours of training through YogaWorks, based in Los Angeles, California, and has been teaching for 4 years. She has experience teaching Beginners, Intermediate, Gentle, Pre-Natal, and Mommy & Me classes. She has a special place in her heart for new moms who want to practice yoga and include their babies on their journey.
Mommy & Me Yoga will focus on connecting with yourself, your baby, and with other moms. This class is for any postpartum mom at least 3 weeks postpartum. The poses practiced will be gentle, strengthening, and appropriate for your post-baby body. You can also expect some breathing exercises and baby massage. This is a laid-back class so feel free to feed your baby and change and comfort your baby as you would at home. Please bring your own mat and a blanket for your baby. Wear something comfortable. Caiti is a mom of two and every other person in the class will be a mom as well! All moms are welcome whether breastfeeding or not. BABIES 0-6 MONTHS. NO CRAWLERS PLEASE!
