This group will explore the differences in playing with your child using traditional toys, e.g., blocks and cars, versus electronic toys. The discussion will focus on how to integrate speech and language into playtime and will highlight current recommendations and research in this area.
The Salus University Speech-Language Pathology Department master’s students, with facilitation by Leah Morton, M.S., CCCSLP, will be offering 4 “Mommy n’ Me” groups this month. The “mommy n’ me” groups will run on Thursday for 4 weeks from 1:30-2:30pm. Free speech, language, and feeding screenings will be offered from 2:30-3:00 pm for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
All babies, toddlers and preschoolers are welcome!
